Historic $5.5M gift will support Mines’ economics and business education | Colorado School of Mines

Colorado School of Mines alum Lowell Shonk MS ’79 and his wife, Cheryl, made a transformative $5 million gift to establish the Lowell and Cheryl Shonk Endowed Chair for the Head of the Economics and Business Program—the first named gift of its kind for the department.
